Bahasa Melayu & Sanskrit Language

Sanskrit an ancient language or probably world's oldest language. Originated from India(there a lot of theory regarding the origin), this language had gain a name as "The Mother of all Language on Earth" and also known as language of spirituality.

Why i suddenly writes about this? Because many of us in Malaysia is unaware that "Bahasa Melayu" or our national official language has a very close relation with Sanskrit Language. There is thousands of words borrowed directly from Sanskrit and many altered with slightly different pronunciation and meaning. Just to add, B.Melayu also contains words from arabic, english and other Asian language.

So guysss learning B.Melayu means directly and indirectly leaning Sanskrit, English, Arab, and other language. Below is the list of Sanskrit words that being used in B.Melayu, which i manage to remember at the moment. List followed by a video about the Sanskrit language.

Be proud to be Malaysian.
